Job Description
Seeking a Residential Counselor (Behavioral Care Specialist) on 1st shift (7A-3:30P) at a Camden NJ facility for adolescent care. Earn $24.50/hr with full benefits including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.
Must have a bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license, and at least one year of direct youth care experience.
Responsibilities include establishing supportive relationships, supervising daily routines, implementing behavioral plans, facilitating activities, and ensuring safety and order.
Qualifications include physical ability for restraints, trauma-informed care skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and certification in First Aid/CPR.
Additional duties involve documentation, teamwork, community engagement, and compliance with policies. Ongoing training and mandatory extra shifts may be required.
