Job Description

Seeking a Residential Counselor (Behavioral Care Specialist) for 1st shift (7A-3:30P) at a Camden NJ facility, working with adolescents.

Earn $24.50/hr with full benefits including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

Valid driver’s license

At least 1 year of direct care experience with youth

Physical ability to perform restraints and participate in trauma-informed care

Responsibilities include supervising youth, implementing daily routines, developing therapeutic relationships, facilitating activities, documenting behavior, administering medication, and ensuring safety and program adherence. Must attend trainings, maintain certifications, and support a positive, culturally competent environment.
