Job Description

The Residential Counselor (Behavioral Care Specialist) position is a third-shift role (11P-7:30A) located at a Camden NJ facility, serving adolescents.
Earn $24.50/hour with full benefits including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license, one year of direct care experience with youth, and physical ability to perform restraints.
Key responsibilities involve establishing supportive relationships, supervising youth, implementing daily routines, managing behavior, facilitating programs, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications include excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, trauma-informed care knowledge, and certification in First Aid and CPR.
Must adhere to policies, maintain confidentiality, participate in training, and support a positive community environment.
Additional duties include documentation, transportation, and collaboration with team members.
