Job Description

The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA oversees 24-hour operations of designated clinical departments to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Responsible for maintaining standards for patient safety, regulatory compliance, and team performance.
  • Develops, manages, and evaluates staff performance and promotes innovation in clinical and operational practices.
  • Utilizes advanced nursing and management knowledge to improve productivity, reduce costs, and support organizational goals.
  • Supports shared leadership and team involvement, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.
  • Provides operational, fiscal, and personnel management while serving as a role model and mentor.

    • Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with a preferred Master’s in Business or Nursing, RN licensure, and relevant clinical and supervisory experience. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on area. The role is based at Johnson City Medical Center with day shifts, no on-call or travel requirements.
