Job Description

The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA oversees 24-hour operations of a clinical department, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

Responsible for maintaining standards, regulatory compliance, and team performance management.

Utilizes advanced nursing and management knowledge to promote clinical excellence, innovation, and cost-effective practices.

Leads system improvements, monitors financial and quality metrics, and supports shared leadership and staff development.

Participates in organizational committees and performance teams to enhance overall care delivery.

In the absence of an RN, may support direct patient care.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, RN licensure, BLS, and relevant certifications. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and clinical supervisory experience.
Work is day shift, with no travel or on-call duties, based at Johnson City Medical Center.
