Job Description
The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA is responsible for the 24-hour operational management of a clinical department, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
They set and monitor standards for safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Utilize advanced nursing and management knowledge to oversee personnel development, fiscal operations, and performance improvement initiatives. Promote innovation, cost-effectiveness, and system improvements to enhance clinical and team performance. Lead and develop unit-based teams, fostering shared leadership and professional growth. Participate in organizational committees and improvement teams to support hospital-wide goals. Maintain clinical practice skills and serve as a role model, mentor, and resource for staff. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), RN licensure, clinical experience, supervisory background, and relevant certifications. This role is based at Johnson City Medical Center, with a day shift, no travel or on-call duties.
