The role involves overseeing nursing staff, managing resident care plans, conducting audits, and ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising nurses and CNAs, addressing complaints, participating in performance appraisals, and collaborating with medical staff to develop and implement care strategies. The position requires a valid R.N. license, ACLS certification (with a 3-month window to complete), and 1-3 years of LTC experience preferred but willing to train. Work schedules are flexible, with periodic on-call and weekend duties.
