Job Description
The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care and supervising nursing staff on a shift, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services.
They practice autonomously within regulatory and organizational standards, utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based practices to deliver safe care.
Key duties include facilitating communication, managing patient assignments, resolving conflicts, mentoring staff, and supporting quality improvement initiatives such as LEAN.
They serve as a clinical role model, participate in educational activities, and contribute to shared governance and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements include a valid RN license, relevant clinical experience (minimum 2 years), a healthcare-related degree (BSN preferred), and certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Supervisory experience and professional certification are preferred.
Work involves day shifts with rotating weekends and no travel, based at a medical center location.
