Job Description

The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care and guiding nursing staff within an acute care setting, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services on a shift-to-shift basis.

They practice autonomously within professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, demonstrating leadership, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The role involves facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, mentoring staff, and participating in quality improvement and LEAN initiatives.

The coordinator assists with patient assignments, staff development, and supports department initiatives, serving as a clinical resource and role model.

They are expected to maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices, participate in education, and serve on hospital committees.

Qualifications include a valid RN license, relevant clinical experience, a healthcare-related degree (BSN preferred), and certifications such as BLS and ACLS.

Shift is day, with rotating weekends, no travel required.
