Job Description
This PRN Speech Language Pathologist position offers a pay rate of $45-$50 per hour, with flexible hours based on census and need.
Qualifications:
– Master’s Degree and valid Ohio Speech/Language Pathologist license.
– Experience working with children with autism through education, training, and/or experience.
Position Overview:
Provide speech therapy to students aged 5-21 with autism within an interdisciplinary team. Offer direct services, consultation, assessments, and develop communication systems such as AAC. Manage IEP goals, analyze student data, and participate in crisis prevention training. Access to advanced technology and collaboration with top medical institutions support professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy sessions.
- Conduct assessments and develop reports.
- Create and implement social pragmatic groups.
- Train staff and families on AAC systems.
- Maintain clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in crisis prevention and de-escalation training.
