Job Description
This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students with disabilities, in accordance with IEPs and state standards, in a bilingual (English and Spanish) educational setting.
Deliver individual and small group instruction based on student needs and collaborate with team members, parents, and external providers.
Develop and monitor IEPs, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Assess students, conduct parent interviews, and communicate progress effectively, including in Spanish.
Implement health, mobility supports, and instructional strategies to promote equitable access to curriculum.
Maintain knowledge of special education laws, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree, relevant California credentials, bilingual proficiency, and experience working with diverse urban student populations.
Requires strong communication, organization, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
