Job Description
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position supports students with special needs in a bilingual, college-preparatory charter school network.
Provide individual/small group speech and language services per IEPs, collaborating with staff and families in English and Spanish. Develop and monitor IEPs, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, including in Spanish, and coordinate with external providers as needed. Create instructional strategies that promote access to the curriculum for students with disabilities, supporting equitable learning outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation, meet deadlines, and stay current on special education standards. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree, valid California credentials, bilingual Spanish proficiency, and experience working with diverse student populations. Candidates must pass background checks, hold First Aid/CPR certification, and be willing to work in a dynamic, urban setting.
