Job Description
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, adhering to established standards of practice.
They apply growth and development principles to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, working collaboratively with customers, patients, physicians, and staff to promote teamwork.
Key qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, a CCC from ASHA, and a valid state license or active clinical fellowship year. BLS certification from AHA is also required.
