Job Description
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, following accepted standards of practice.
They apply growth and development principles to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Collaboration with customers, patients, physicians, and staff is essential, emphasizing teamwork and adherence to organizational values to promote hope, health, and healing.
Requirements include a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA or in progress, a valid Nebraska speech pathology license or completing CFY, and Basic Life Support certification. Preferred candidates have at least six months of related experience.
