Job Description

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist provides assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with communication challenges to support their learning and success in both special and regular education settings.

Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with teams to develop and modify IEP goals.

Delivers remediation through individual and small group instruction, offering modifications to enhance student success.

Serves as a resource for staff and parents, providing consultation and inservice training on communication development.

Maintains compliance with regulations, keeps detailed records, and pursues ongoing professional growth.
