Job Description

Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing impairments in a senior living community in Whiting, NJ.

  • Perform hearing, speech, and language examinations; evaluate test results and medical background.
  • Diagnose patients and develop tailored treatment plans; educate patients and families on communication strategies.
  • Maintain detailed reports, coordinate paperwork, and manage caseload activities.
  • Create individual and group therapy programs; participate in patient progress meetings and educational planning.
  • Instruct clients in communication techniques such as sign language, lip reading, or voice therapy.

    • Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited therapy program, 3-5 years of experience or equivalent, and a valid NJ Speech Therapist license. The position offers a pay range of $58-$60/hr, with benefits like 401k, voluntary benefits, and referral programs.
