This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
Evaluate and treat patients within their functional limitations, develop treatment plans, and communicate progress to the healthcare team and families.Document services accurately, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.Supervise clinical staff and contribute to interdisciplinary team activities, integrating findings and educating team members and families.Participate in professional development through continuing education, peer interactions, and presentations.Promote a positive, safe, and professional facility culture, demonstrating excellent customer service and safety practices.Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, California license, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred.Physical demands involve working with patients, maintaining safety, and some clerical tasks. Compensation ranges from $65-$75/hour with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and relocation assistance.
