This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans, and communicates with families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.Performs comprehensive evaluations, documents services accurately, and manages billing and compliance requirements.Supervises clinical staff and contributes to team conferences and patient education.Maintains current knowledge through continuing education, presents at professional meetings, and promotes a positive, safe work environment.Qualifications include a Master’s degree, 2-3 years of rehab experience, licensure, and CPR certification. Must demonstrate strong communication, clinical skills, and safety practices. Compensation ranges from $58-$62/hour, with benefits including health insurance and relocation assistance.
