Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team, with new grads welcome.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services following physician orders and facility policies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in care planning and discharge meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current State Licensure or eligibility.
- Current CCC-SLP from ASHA (CFY candidates welcome).
- Experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
