Job Description
The school speech/language pathologist conducts assessments, diagnoses, and provides therapy for students with communication disabilities at one or more school sites.
Services include evaluation, intervention, consultation, professional development, and support for school improvement, adhering to federal and state laws such as FERPA, IDEA, NAC, and Section 504.
Key duties involve participating in MTSS/RtI, supporting students through evidence-based therapy, contributing to IEP development, and coordinating services during transitions.
Responsibilities also include documentation, data collection, and collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists.
Qualifications require a relevant degree, licensure or endorsement, and preferably a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Position offers full or part-time roles, with pay starting at $71/hour, and involves in-person work, 20-40 hours weekly.
