Job Description
We are seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized assessment and therapy services for students with severe behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs aged 5-22.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and AAC assessments; prepare reports; contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations.
- Intervention & Therapy: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; deliver direct therapy in various settings; support feeding/swallowing as needed.
- Collaboration & Consultation: Work with educators, therapists, and families; train staff on communication strategies; participate in IEP and team meetings.
- Behavior & Crisis Support: Integrate communication into behavior plans; assist in crisis situations with calm, consistent strategies.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records; ensure adherence to legal and licensing standards.
Qualifications: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, experience with severe disabilities, knowledge of AAC and behavioral strategies. Preferred: CCC-SLP, ABA experience, bilingual skills.
