Job Description

Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore and improve patient function.


Performs assessments, develops treatment plans, and documents all activities in patient records. Provides patient and family education, collaborates with healthcare team, and ensures culturally sensitive care.


Participates in performance improvement, infection control, and departmental training activities. Maintains competency, manages scheduling, and supports departmental operations and budget considerations.


Requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and experience working with diverse populations, preferably geriatrics. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.


Position involves physical activities such as standing, lifting, and manual dexterity, along with mental tasks like reasoning, report writing, and effective communication. Full-time, in-person role based in Ironton, OH, with benefits and a schedule Monday to Friday, with some weekend coverage. Must be able to commute or relocate before starting.
