Job Description

Speech/Language pathologist needed for the remainder of the 2025/26 school year and beyond in elementary and early childhood settings in Lake County, IL. Full-time and/or part-time positions available. Must have an Illinois PEL license or be eligible (need Illinois IDFPR license and CCCs; CFYs encouraged to apply).


Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to students with communication disorders.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and set goals.
  • Document progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Stay current with best practices in the field.
  • Follow professional standards and ethical guidelines.

  • Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with IDFPR license and CCCs required.
  • Experience in school settings and case management is a plus.

  • Compensation & Benefits:

  • $70.00 – $75.00 per hour.
