Job Description
This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility environment.
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans; communicate progress with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; and document services accurately.Supervise clinical staff and contribute to team meetings, ensuring coordinated, patient-centered care.Maintain compliance with regulatory documentation standards, manage billing and insurance processes, and support continuous professional development.Promote a positive facility culture by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service.Ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain equipment and work areas, and adhere to safety practices.Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, California licensure or licensure candidate, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred. Must have current CPR certification and physical ability to perform patient treatments. Compensation ranges from $58-$62/hour, with health benefits included.
