Job Description
Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide patient-centered care in a skilled nursing facility.
Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized treatment plans and documenting progress accurately. Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. Supervise clinical staff and contribute to team meetings, sharing expertise and integrating interdisciplinary findings. Maintain compliance with regulatory documentation and billing standards, manage Medicare reviews, and obtain necessary consents. Promote professional development through continuing education, peer collaboration, and professional presentations. Support a positive facility culture by demonstrating professional standards, customer service, and safe working practices. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC, CA license or eligibility, 2-3 years of rehab experience, and current CPR certification. Must be able to perform physical requirements of the role.
Compensation is $55-$65/hour with benefits including health insurance and relocation assistance. Location: San Gabriel, CA.
