Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within a clinical setting.
- Conducts comprehensive evaluations, develops treatment plans, and obtains physician approvals.
- Delivers individualized therapy, documents progress accurately, and manages billing documentation.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; educates staff and supports clinical best practices.
- Supervises clinical fellows and assistants, ensures safety, and adheres to regulatory standards.
- Contributes to team meetings, professional development, and fosters a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Maintains current knowledge through continuing education and complies with licensing requirements.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, licensure, and 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. The role is part-time, pays $58-$62/hour, and includes health benefits.
