This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility.
Evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate progress to families and interdisciplinary team members.Perform comprehensive evaluations, document services accurately, and ensure compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.Supervise clinical staff, contribute to team meetings, and integrate multidisciplinary insights into patient care.Support professional development through continuing education and peer interactions.Promote a positive, safe, and professional work environment, adhering to safety protocols and facility standards.Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of rehab experience, CCC-SLP certification, and applicable state licensure.
