Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and treating patients with speech and language disorders following physician prescriptions. Performs assessments, develops and implements therapy programs, and documents progress in medical records. Provides patient and family education, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. Collaborates with healthcare team members and participates in performance improvement and departmental training activities. Ensures patient care is delivered respectfully and effectively across all age groups, including pediatric to geriatric populations. Maintains departmental records, participates in infection control, safety, and organizational programs, and manages scheduling and administrative duties as delegated.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric patients. Must possess good interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and be physically able to perform necessary activities. The role requires in-person work in Ironton, OH, with potential relocation before start. Full-time position with benefits and scheduled Monday-Friday hours, including some weekends as needed.
