Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore function and prevent disability.
Performs patient assessments, develops treatment plans, and documents progress to enhance communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities across all age groups.
Provides patient and family education, collaborates with healthcare teams, and ensures quality care while maintaining compliance with standards and departmental policies.
Participates in performance improvement, infection control, and departmental training activities. Ensures personal competency and contributes to departmental efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Requires a Master’s degree, Kentucky licensure, and preferred experience with geriatric patients. Must have strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work under stress. Position is full-time, in person, based in Ironton, OH, with benefits and a Monday-Friday schedule.
