Job Description

The Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering treatment to patients referred by physicians, aiming to restore communication and swallowing functions and enhance overall quality of life.

They perform assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document all activities in medical records. The role includes educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, and participating in performance improvement and safety programs.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, licensure in Kentucky, and experience with diverse populations, preferably geriatrics. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle physical and mental demands.

Work is in person in Ironton, OH, with benefits offered, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The schedule is primarily weekdays, with some weekends as needed. Candidates must be able to relocate and commute to the work site.
