Job Description
Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid over a year.
Position Overview: Provide patient-centered care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, evaluate and treat patients, document services accurately, and support professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and obtain physician approvals.
- Communicate patient progress with team and families, instruct staff and families on follow-up programs.
- Supervise clinical staff, ensure documentation compliance, and manage billing documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, contribute to a positive work culture, and promote safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC certification.
- California license or licensing candidate, CPR certification preferred.
- 2-3 years of rehab experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong communication skills, ability to supervise staff, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Compensation ranges from $55.00 to $65.00 per hour, with health benefits included. This is an in-person role, approximately 40 hours per week.
