Job Description
Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus with pay spread over one year.
Position Overview: Provide direct patient care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, while supporting interdisciplinary team efforts.
- Evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate with families, physicians, and team members.
- Document services accurately in medical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Supervise clinical staff and contribute to professional development through ongoing education and peer interaction.
- Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and caregiver training.
- Ensure safety protocols and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, California license or candidate, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred. Must have current CPR certification if required.
Physical & Work Requirements: Able to perform patient treatments, with 60-80% of time spent on direct care activities.
Compensation & Benefits: $55-$65/hour, health insurance, full-time hours (40/week). Position involves in-person work.
