The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist supports students with communication challenges by conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized educational plans, and providing therapy in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Responsibilities include assessing students, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, providing remediation, and offering consultation to staff and parents regarding communication needs. Qualifications require a valid credential as per California standards. This full-time or part-time position offers a salary range of $74,534–$123,774, with benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and continuing education credits. The work is in person, based in San Jose, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
