Job Description
The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist assesses and treats students with communication challenges to support their learning.
Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs). Provides remediation through individual and small group instruction, and modifies programs for student success. Serves as a resource for staff and parents, offering consultation and inservice training. Maintains compliance with regulations, records, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications include appropriate state credential. This is a full- or part-time role with competitive pay, benefits, and a schedule Monday–Friday in San Jose, CA. Involves in-person work and requires reliable commute or relocation.
