Job Description

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist assesses and treats students with communication challenges to support their learning.

  • Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs).
  • Provides remediation through individual and small group instruction, and modifies programs for student success.
  • Serves as a resource for staff and parents, offering consultation and inservice training.
  • Maintains compliance with regulations, records, and ongoing professional development.


    • Qualifications include appropriate state credential. This is a full- or part-time role with competitive pay, benefits, and a schedule Monday–Friday in San Jose, CA. Involves in-person work and requires reliable commute or relocation.
