Job Description
Seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate opening at a therapeutic special education boarding school outside Charlottesville, VA. The SLP will work with adolescent boys (ages 9-17) with learning, developmental, and social-emotional challenges in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team including occupational and art therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting social communication, executive functioning, and social skills across various modalities and settings, and providing staff consultation.
Qualifications include a master’s degree in speech pathology and current Virginia licensure or eligibility.
