Job Description

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist performs assessments, develops individualized educational plans, and provides remediation for students with communicative challenges in a school setting.

They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consult with staff and parents, and participate in voice clinics and inservice training.

Key duties include diagnosing communication issues, modifying instructional strategies, maintaining compliance with regulations, and keeping detailed records.

Qualifications require a California credential for speech and hearing specialists. The role offers both part-time and full-time positions with competitive pay, benefits (including health, dental, vision, and continuing education), and requires reliable commuting or relocation to San Jose, CA. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
