Job Description
The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist facilitates student learning by diagnosing and developing individualized communication programs through assessments and therapy.
They participate in multidisciplinary teams to set goals, provide remediation through individual and group instruction, and modify plans as needed.
Consultation with school staff, parents, and external agencies ensures comprehensive support for students’ communicative needs.
Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with regulations, managing records, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
Qualifications require appropriate state credentialing. The role offers both full-time and part-time options, with competitive salary, benefits, and a schedule Monday through Friday.
Work is conducted in person in San Jose, CA.
