Job Description
The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist assesses, diagnoses, and develops individualized programs for students with communicative challenges to support their learning.
Conducts assessments and interprets results for educators and parents. Participates in multidisciplinary teams to set goals and create IEPs. Provides remediation through individual and group instruction. Offers consultation to staff, parents, and external agencies on students’ communicative needs. Maintains compliance with regulations, manages records, and pursues ongoing professional development. Requires appropriate state credential; works full or part-time in person in San Jose, CA.
