Job Description

Our developmental therapy team, including Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, collaborates with educators and counselors to support children aged birth to 10 years in achieving developmental goals.

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments upon referral, at least annually.
  • Develop and document individualized “Plan of Care” with specific goals.
  • Implement therapy using evidence-based techniques and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Maintain timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and reports for third-party payers.
  • Participate in IEP or IFSP meetings and coordinate with staff and external agencies.
  • Advocate for clients and engage in community outreach activities.
  • Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid Florida licensure, ASHA certification, and pediatric experience. Bilingual skills and Medicaid number are preferred.
