Looking to join an engaging team in a rewarding environment? We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Specialist for our Adult Services (21+) programs.
Provide support to adult participants by enhancing their receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills through verbal communication, sign language, pictures, or augmentative devices. Develop and implement individualized speech and language programs aligned with each participant’s ISP, including assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, and intervention. Participate in developing ISPs and creating new speech and language initiatives. Maintain accurate data on participants’ progress and train staff on integrating speech programs into daily routines. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, state licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with autism. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and maintaining PCM certification for safety.
