Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Description

Seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Special Education Speech Therapist for a temporary-to-permanent position at a Staten Island school.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 A.M.–2:00 P.M., 25 hours/week, during a 10-month school year plus summer session.

**Responsibilities:**
– Provide speech therapy per IEP, including individual and group sessions.
– Collaborate with educators and support staff.
– Maintain documentation, conduct evaluations, and update IEP goals.
– Support assistive communication technology and participate in team meetings.

**Qualifications:**
– Valid NYS SLP license and TSSLD certification.
– Bilingual extension in Spanish.
– Experience with students with autism.
– Strong clinical and collaborative skills.

**Compensation:** $60–$70 per hour.

**Work environment:** In person, supporting student communication development in a multidisciplinary setting.
