The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations, assesses home environments, identifies communication needs, and develops treatment plans to improve patient function. They administer therapy using specialized techniques and recommend communication aids. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members ensures comprehensive care. The role includes patient and family education, documentation, and supervision of home health aides when needed.

_Qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree in SLP, state licensure or equivalent, at least one year of clinical experience, and successful completion of a national exam.
