Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats communication disorders in pediatric clients from birth to 18 years old, focusing on language, articulation, voice, pragmatics, fluency, executive functioning, and feeding/swallowing as appropriate.


Key responsibilities include developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, creating functional communication goals, documenting evaluations and progress, and supporting families to reinforce strategies at home. The role involves maintaining a caseload of 25 therapy hours weekly and may include serving as a CF Supervisor every two years.


Requirements include a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, passing the Praxis exam, completing a Clinical Fellowship Year, and licensure or eligibility in Illinois. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative attitude, creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Physical demands include lifting up to 30 lbs and working in active, play-based settings, with some regional travel involved. The position offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits.
