Job Description
Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join a rehabilitation team at a pediatric long-term care facility.
- Provide direct patient care for residents with diverse disabilities, including cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ quality of life and functional outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers, and participate in team meetings and educational initiatives.
- Assess patients’ needs, recommend appropriate interventions and equipment, and ensure documentation complies with standards.
- Promote professional growth through continuing education and uphold facility policies and procedures.
