Job Description
Inpatient Rehab SLP (Part-time, as needed) provides speech and language therapy to patients recovering from injury or illness.
Evaluates, treats, and documents patient progress to ensure effective therapy and safe discharge planning. Supervises and trains staff, coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members. Ensures documentation complies with regulations and facility policies. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient status. Participates in continuing education and develops in-service programs. Promotes patient safety and employee safety, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Must hold a current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license. Prior inpatient or related experience is preferred.
Pay starts at $50/hour. Work is conducted in person.
