Responsibilities:
– Document, bill, and code for speech language pathology and audiology services according to policies.
– Gather resident information for assessments, including signs of swallowing, speech, hearing, cognitive patterns, and mental status.
– Provide functional cognition data for Medicare residents upon admission.
Qualifications:
– Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.
– Valid, unrestricted license in the discipline.
– Knowledge of long-term care regulations and procedures.
