Job Description
Seeking Speech Language Pathologist (CCC required, no CFY) with preferred Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care experience.
Provides direct speech therapy rehab services based on physician referrals, adhering to all regulations and standards.
Requires MS or MA in speech therapy from an accredited program, ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for a 9-month CFY, and active state licensure.
Preferred one year of post-acute care experience; CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation.
Participates in community health projects, proficient in Microsoft Office, and collaborates with patients and support staff to plan care.
Demonstrates good body mechanics, independent decision-making, knowledge of applicable laws, and adherence to policies including confidentiality and compliance.
Establishes and modifies functional goals, charts appropriately, and uses therapy software accurately.
Provides excellent customer service, maintains dependable attendance, and communicates effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Performs physical activities as needed and ensures understanding of English language skills for effective communication.
Must be capable of supervising CFYs if applicable and follow treatment plans under supervision, with a focus on professionalism and integrity.
