Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team at a care facility in Stamford, TX.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits
• Helping residents achieve goals related to cognition and swallowing
• Providing education to residents and caregivers
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing AAC systems for severe communication disorders
• Training clients, families, and staff, and coordinating diagnostic procedures
• Maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Responding to family concerns and collaborating with care staff

Requirements:

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA certification
• Good standing with regulatory agencies
