Seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy in a reputable long-term and post-acute care facility located in a scenic city known for outdoor recreation.
Offering competitive pay of $50-$55/hr DOE, mentorship for new grads, ongoing education, and growth opportunities within a network of nearly 200 facilities across 26 states. Responsibilities include delivering direct rehab care, assessing and modifying patient goals, charting accurately, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met. Requirements encompass a graduate degree in speech therapy (MS or MA), ASHA certification or eligibility for CFY, valid state licensure, and CPR certification. Prior experience in post-acute care is preferred. Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, good body mechanics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to make independent decisions, participate in community health projects, and exhibit excellent customer service is essential. Key functions include establishing treatment goals, supervising CFYs (if applicable), documentation, and effective communication with patients and staff.
