Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role in the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) department involves providing speech therapy to children aged birth to three in Brazoria County, primarily in natural environments such as homes.
In this full-time, exempt position, the SLP will evaluate children, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to establish and meet individualized goals.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, coaching parents, documenting progress, and attending meetings. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and navigating various work conditions.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree, Texas state licensure, ASHA certification, and current CPR/First Aid. The position offers a salary range of $80,000–$90,000 per year, with the work primarily conducted in person.
